Porsche 991 mk2 GT2 RS

It is quite simply the most powerful 911 ever produced by Porsche – with performance akin to that of a super sports car.
An inimitable vehicle that combines power, precision, agility, speed and endurance with sheer performance.

Porsche's 6:47.3 lap at Nürburgring - is not only the fastest 911 lap ever, it's a record for road-legal sports cars - period.

The interesting thing is that Porsche aimed for a relatively relaxed 7min 5sec time. As Porsche's Frank-Steffen Walliser says, "At the start of the development process, we set ourselves a lap time target for the GT2 RS of less than 7 minutes and 5 seconds. The credit for beating this target by 17.7 seconds goes to our development engineers, mechanics and drivers, who demonstrated an exceptionally strong team performance. This result makes it official: The GT2 RS is not only the most powerful, but also the fastest 911 ever built."

Release notes

For this moment, project already in such progress, that it's quetly hard to make moves for improvements without your experience and nice feedback - indeed. Without doubts and as planned before - time to release this "beast". Such good "pair" for 997.2 GT2 RS, which was released as first project in one autumn, almost in the same period time before.

About sound. It's have 2 custom projects, which are maded, as new by using Kunos sound records in different way. All mine intents were to replicate some kind of modern feat. classic 911's turbo sound, as was mentioned by Porsche's engineers. Mostly it's a modern thing, but it have something from it in "soul". Both with almost the same interior sound (very little difference, anyway) and 2 variants of exterior. More clear exhaust sound and you can easily hear engine notes from bumper and hood view (it's not work so in original variants). You will research by ears and hope, will enjoy.

Visual. Car have LR (low-resolution) cockpit for perfomance;around 7 details for details customization;all else can be overviewed and shown at car's site page.

Little about physical side. Suspension is created with 991 Cup geometry, which is mean, that all links system, like in Cup racing car, but all else parts, like spring, dampers, antiroll bars and etc - is for street legal car. It's for sure, quetly stiff thing, as should and best place for it - on the track. But at beautiful open roads - it's as well feel rather comfortable, however with all those modern systems, which actually helps a lot. You will have to "learn", how this ultimastist 911 able to hold grip and in what speeds without feeling of lost control.

Since first update including improved tyres model with even more grip and better "wearing" perfomance.

Update 01 notes

It's a small, but quetly important update.

- Errors fix while using original launcher relative "skins"

- Improved tire's model and "wearing" perfomance. Fixed one quetly serious mistake in.

- Correction of FFB power relative more higher G-forces

Tires in new GT2 RS (they also stock in available market version) - is most important "key", as talked in interview one of Porsche's engineers. So, i'm spended took time (and will, if needed more) to recreate this version of tyres, at least in terms of feelings and perfomance.

This version of tires fixed from mine mistake with new 1.5 code feautures. This was reason for quetly serious understeer in some moments. Second part - is improved grip of tires and "wearing" perfomance. You will definitely improve every best lap time at all tracks, where you already driven it first release version (i'm set near -2.0 sec at Monza quetly.. easily).

And hope, some of you, who actually are like "pro" drivers will set more close time to record at Nurburgring. Or probably it will be ...

Good luck. Have fun.
